Terms and Conditions

1. Rental Agreement: The customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in the rental agreement provided upon booking confirmation.

2. Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required, calculated based on the value of the equipment and the duration of the hire. This deposit will be refunded upon the safe return of the equipment and all associated accessories in good working condition.

3. Identification and Verification: The customer must provide valid photo identification (e.g., driver's license, passport) and proof of address. Rent-A-Build reserves the right to verify the identity and address before the hire is confirmed.

4. Limited Liability: The customer assumes full responsibility for the equipment during the hire period. Any damage, loss, or theft of the 3D printer, rower, desk, or accessories will result in the customer being liable for the full repair or replacement cost.

5. Functional Damage: The customer is responsible for any functional damage to the equipment during the hire period. This includes any damage that affects the operational capability of the equipment. The customer agrees to cover all repair costs or, if necessary, the full replacement cost of the equipment if it is deemed irreparable.

6. Restricted Use: The equipment must be used in a secure, indoor environment. It should not be used in areas prone to moisture, dust, or extreme temperatures, as this could damage the equipment.

7. No Unauthorized Modifications: The customer must not attempt to modify, disassemble, or repair the equipment. Any issues should be reported immediately to Rent-A-Build for resolution.

8. Reporting Damage or Issues: Any damage or operational issues must be reported to Rent-A-Build within 24 hours of occurrence. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.

9. Location of Use: The equipment may only be used at the address specified in the registration form. Any relocation of the equipment without prior approval from Rent-A-Build is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and forfeiture of the security deposit.

10. Insurance Requirement: Rent-A-Build strongly recommends that the customer’s home or business insurance covers rented equipment. Proof of such insurance may be requested.

11. Credit Card Security: We require your credit card number as security for our equipment. By signing our terms and conditions, you approve us to debit this card if the items are damaged, unclean, or not returned. Under no circumstances will your card be debited for any other reason, and the card number will not be shared with anyone else.

12. Waiver of Liability: The customer acknowledges that using equipment, such as a 3D printer, rower, or adjustable desk, involves certain risks, including but not limited to the risk of injury, loss of limb, or even life. By hiring the equipment, the customer agrees to waive any and all claims against Rent-A-Build, its owners, and employees for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the use of the rented equipment. The customer assumes all risk and responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others using the equipment.

13. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the hire start date to avoid charges. Late cancellations may incur a fee equivalent to one day's rental.
